Is America Being Pushed Into The "3rd World?"

How Mainstream Politics Is Destroying America

Hank McIntyre

Every disaster in history was preceded by complacency.

The Great Depression was preceded by bold statements from our own government that Wall Street's unprecedented gains were going to go on forever... And that we were in a new era of technology-based prosperity that would never allow our economy to slow down (never mind crash!)

Prosperity makes people forget the basic laws of life: Staying prepared for unforeseen emergencies, maintaining an effective defense, and don't assume easy times will last forever.

We're wealthy now (as a nation), loaded down with cell phones, SUVs and DVDs... and all these toys keep images of the cold landscape of disaster far from our thoughts.

Many laws have been passed during these fat times which give authority for foreign governments and troops to mobilize within the boundaries of the U.S. under the U.N. flag. (Scenario: "Rioting and looting continue unabated over the last three days. Fortunately U.S. officials have successfully negotiated for U.N. personnel to assist in bring the situation under control." China, who is not shy about its intentions to defeat America militarily, can maintain their troops on U.S. soil under the U.N. flag [foreign troops have been training here under the U.N. routinely for decades] All we need is an "emergency" to make it appear like "welcome assistance!")

Though repealing the right of citizens to hold weapons may seem appropriate to some people, this is intended to let the government create a powerless citizenry for them to rule. All local police forces are to be brought under the umbrella of a federal policing agency, creating, in effect, an army mobilized against our own citizens. (It is unconstitutional for the government to use actual military forces against its people, so they're sidestepping this prohibition by equipping the local police with military technology).

China is probably our biggest problem. A hotheaded, communist, militaristic nation of one billion people have built a huge treasury from the two decades of lucrative trade with the U.S. begun under Jimmy Carter. They're funding their military, armaments buildups and global troop movements with this money. (Right now PLA troops occupy the facilities at each end of the Panama Canal, empowering them to stop sea traffic when it suits them.)

Our legislature continually votes down military preparations that would give us a better posture in Asia, saying that it might provoke the Chinese. The United States built China's economy - by giving incentives to U.S. companies to have their products built there rather than here at home - or at least in a more democratic foreign nation. Now our elected officials pretend that our country cannot defend itself in whatever way seems appropriate, because, now that we've created this monster by transferring our own wealth to them, China is too big for us to antagonize.

The biggest mystery is that nobody's talking about this. These are blatant realities. These issues will determine how we'll live in the very near future: Whether we will be free citizens under a government which respects our constitutional rights - or have chaotic government regulations enforced by army-styled militarized local police, or U.N. foreign troops. After all, if they didn't intend to establish a police state, why did our government pass such laws in the first place? (Example: The DEA often seizes money and houses, claiming they "Might" have been used in drug trafficking, though no evidence exists and no arrests are made; and they're not obligated to return any of this property even when the person can prove his innocence. The same is done under Homeland Security's "terrorist" policies.)

THESE ARE THE ONLY ISSUES THAT COUNT IN OUR NATION'S POLITICS. WITH SO MANY THINGS THREATENING OUR FUTURE, WE CANNOT JUST MEEKLY ACCEPT THE BLAND "TALKING SUITS:" - MEN WHO STAND FOR NOTHING, "GOVERNING" US BY WORKING TO THE ADVANTAGE OF ENEMY NATIONS -- WHILE WE WATCH OUR OWN COUNTRY BECOME STRIPPED OF ITS INDUSTRY, WEALTH, & FREEDOM.

Something CAN be done about this, but not with emotional talk. That's what prevents us from controlling government policy: The news tosses us a bone to fight over for a few weeks -- some temporary issue of little meaning -- while permanent disasters like "Favored-Nation" trade with China, and CAFTA, are passed in virtual secrecy. And we burn-out our mental energies fighting over nonsense issues all the while.

This calls for leadership, wisdom, and spiritual discipline:

  • Though the people were incensed over foreign rule prior to the American Revolution, it took organized leadership to focus the people's anger into an effective power.

  • The Council of Foreign Relations and their cohorts didn't get America to willingly destroy itself just through impulsive fits of rage and rhetoric. It took decades (ultimately centuries) of unemotional crafting and influence. Our success will require this same icy shrewdness.

  • Without a connection to God, man doesn't have the strength to carry out such long-term goals -- the desire for immediate gratification will overpower the unspiritual man every time. When our motivation is fueled by an awareness of our place in eternity, the tedium of our righteous labors won't have such a devastating effect on our reserves of energy and perseverance.
