SECTION 1 :

THE SEPARATION OF ISRAEL FROM JUDAH

1 Kings 12:3, 4,14-16 - Then Jeroboam and the whole assembly of Israel came and spoke to Rehoboam, saying, "Your father made our yoke heavy; now therefore, lighten the burdensome service of your father, and his heavy yoke which he put on us, and we will serve you." (14) and he [Rehoboam] spoke to them ... saying, "My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to your yoke; my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scourges!" So the king did not listen to the people; for the turn of events was from the LORD... Now when all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them, the people answered the king, saying: "What share have we in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, O Israel! Now, see to your own house, O David!" So Israel departed to their tents.

When Rehoboam succeeded King Solomon, the 10 tribes of Israel rebelled and left between 721 and 718 B.C., because of the harsh rule of Rehoboam, and because of Solomon's sin in the latter days of his reign, bringing a curse on the land that allowed this division to occur under God's dispensation.

Sennacherib came down, Jeremiah transferred the Kingdom to Zarah from Pharez because Zarah was of Jacob's (Israel's) lineage. From which the kingly line was to derive. (Ezekiel 21:26-27; FGT p25)

They moved throughout the nations, leaving historical marks throughout Europe, especially Britain.

Jeremiah 5:11 - The house of Israel and the house of Judah have been utterly unfaithful to me," declares the LORD.

This makes a distinction between "Israel" and "Judah"

Amos 9:8-9 - "Surely the eyes of the Sovereign LORD are on the sinful kingdom. I will destroy it from the face of the earth- yet I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob," declares the LORD. "For I will give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, and not a pebble will reach the ground.

1a: LOSS OF THEIR IDENTITY
Exodus 31:13-14 "This will be a SIGN between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy. Observe the Sabbath"

The House of Israel (the "Christian," western nations manifesting the "House of Israel") LOST THEIR IDENTITY. They ceased observing the Sabbath on the seventh day of the week, and they neglected the Holy Days of Exodus 13 and Leviticus 23.

The Church doesn't know that there are any Israelites, other than those who identify themselves as "Jewish" (named derived from "Judah"), because they have the "sign" of keeping the Sabbath and the Holy Days of Exodus 13 and Leviticus 23. Judah and Benjamin were the only tribes NOT to flee Judah at the time of Rehoboam.

They lost knowledge of who they were for a great span of time, because they had disbursed themselves among the peoples of the nations they inhabited ("shaken in a sieve"), and so eroded a cohesive cultural and religious bond among them.

SECTION 2:

JUDAH = "RULERSHIP" LINE
ISRAEL = "BIRTHRIGHT" LINE

JUDAH'S RULERSHIP:

Genesis 49:10 - The scepter [Rulership, or Throne] shall not depart from Judah,
Nor a lawgiver from between his feet,
Until Shiloh [Messiah] comes;
And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

ISRAEL'S BIRTHRIGHT:

1 Chronicles 5:1-2 - 1 Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel (he was indeed the firstborn, but because he defiled his father's bed, HIS BIRTHRIGHT WAS GIVEN TO THE SONS OF JOSEPH, THE SON OF ISRAEL, so that the genealogy is not listed according to the birthright; 2 yet Judah prevailed over his brothers, and FROM HIM [JUDAH] CAME A RULER, although the BIRTHRIGHT WAS JOSEPH'S.)

The 10 Lost Tribes

  1. Asher
  2. Dan
  3. Ephraim
  4. Gad
  5. Issachar
  6. Manasseh
  7. Naphtali
  8. Reuben
  9. Simeon
  10. Zebulun
—all sons or grandsons of Jacob.

The promise to rule was split off to the tribe of JUDAH as Jacob gave each son his deathbed blessings. But to JOSEPH (Israel) went the rest of the birthright.

Israel is called "Samaria," "Jacob, " "Rachel," '"Ephraim," and the "House of Joseph." This always refers to the BIRTHRIGHT nations.

Genesis 48:14-16 - Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh's head, guiding his hands knowingly, for Manasseh was the firstborn. 15 And he blessed Joseph, and said:

"God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,
The God who has fed me all my life long to this day,

16 The Angel who has redeemed me from all evil,
Bless the lads;
Let my [ISRAEL'S] name be named upon them [Ephraim & Manasseh],
And the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;

And let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth."

By this Ephraim & Manasseh's DESCENDANTS (the "House of Israel") were the ones to " grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth."

The House of ISRAEL received the birthright blessings, as Great Britain and the U.S., as a fulfillment of God's covenant with Abraham. (Genesis 12).

Genesis 12:2 - I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.

Yet the House of Israel is the Focus of the Tribulation because of their disobedience: God gave Israel an "Identifying Sign:" The Sabbath, and the Lord's Feasts:

Exodus 13:9 - It shall be a SIGN to you and on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord's law may be in your mouth;

Leviticus 23 lists the Feasts, including the Sabbath. Israel's neglect of the Sabbath and the other Feasts in the course of their migration has separated them from their Identity with God.

THE "THRONE" COVENANT BETWEEN DAVID & GOD:

God established a covenant with David, to "build a house for me [God] to dwell in [through Solomon]:"

2 Samuel 7:4 - But it happened that night that the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying, 5 "Go and tell My servant David, 'Thus says the LORD: "Would you build a house for Me to dwell in?'"

By this Covenant, David's throne will be established "forever" (2 Samuel 16:)

2 Samuel 7:12 - "When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son.
IF HE COMMITS INIQUITY, I WILL CHASTEN HIM WITH THE ROD OF MEN and with the blows of the sons of men.

15 BUT MY MERCY SHALL NOT DEPART FROM HIM, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.

16 And your house
and YOUR KINGDOM SHALL BE ESTABLISHED FOREVER before you. Your throne shall be established forever."

Disobedience wouldn't prevent David's kingdom from being "ESTABLISHED FOREVER:"

"DISOBEDIENCE" DIDN'T NULLIFY GOD'S COVENANT:

Even if David or his offspring should sin before God, they would be punished by the "rod of men" (v 14), but by God's mercy (v 15) David's throne shall be established forever" (v 16). Though David's lineage faced affliction for disobedience, God's mercy maintained his Covenant Agreement with them to be established as a kingdom forever (2 Samuel 7:16).

Also in Psalm 89:

Psalm 89:30 "If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,

31 If they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments,

32 Then I WILL PUNISH THEIR TRANSGRESSION WITH THE ROD, And their iniquity with stripes.

33 NEVERTHELESS MY LOVINGKINDNESS I WILL NOT UTTERLY TAKE FROM HIM, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.

34 My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.

35 Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:

36 His seed shall endure forever,

And HIS THRONE AS THE SUN BEFORE ME;

37 IT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED FOREVER like the moon,

Even like the faithful witness in the sky." Selah

Sure enough, Solomon DID disobey God:

1 Kings 11:11-13 - Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, "Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant. Nevertheless I will not do it in your days, for the sake of your father David; I will tear it out of the hand of your son [Rehoboam]. HOWEVER I WILL NOT TEAR AWAY THE WHOLE KINGDOM; I WILL GIVE ONE TRIBE to your son for the sake of My servant David, and FOR THE SAKE OF JERUSALEM WHICH I HAVE CHOSEN."

So, by Solomon's disobedience, God took all the kingdom away from Solomon (through his son Rehoboam) EXCEPT FOR ONE TRIBE "for the sake of My servant David" because of God's Covenant promise:

1 Kings 11:32 - (but he shall have one tribe for the sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel).

YET ISRAEL REMAINED IN EXISTENCE -- but as a scattered people.

Jeremiah 33:17 - "For thus says the LORD: 'David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;

This separation created TWO KINGDOMS:

The House of JUDAH and the House of ISRAEL

The northern Ten-Tribed House of Israel would be led by the lineage of Joseph's two sons: Ephraim and Manassah. The nation that LEGALLY carried the title "Israel" would now be ruled over by JEROBOAM of the tribe of Ephraim: Recall, Jacob [Israel] had pronounced his name on the sons of Joseph - Ephraim & Manassah (Genesis 48:13-20).

1 Kings 11:31 - And [the prophet Ahijah] said to Jeroboam, "Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: 'Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and will give ten tribes to you.'"

• 1 Kings 12:19 - Israel rebelled (seceded) from Judah -- from David.:

19 So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David to this day.

SEPARATION was GOD'S WILL

1 Kings 12:21, 23-24 - 21 And when Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he assembled... one hundred and eighty thousand ...warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, that he might restore the kingdom to Rehoboam the son of Solomon. 23 "Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, to all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the rest of the people, saying, 24 'Thus says the LORD: "You shall not go up nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel. Let every man return to his house, FOR THIS THING IS FROM ME."'" Therefore they obeyed the word of the LORD, and turned back, according to the word of the LORD.."'" Therefore they obeyed the word of the LORD, and turned back, according to the word of the LORD.

• JUDAH comprised two tribes: Judah & Benjamin.

• ISRAEL comprised ten tribes.

• Israel sinned against God, using idols from Egypt - 1 Kings 12:28-33.

28 Therefore the king asked advice, made two calves of gold, and said to the people, "It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt!" 29 And he set up one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. 30 Now this thing became a sin, for the people went to worship before the one as far as Dan.

31 He made shrines on the high places, and made priests from every class of people, who were not of the sons of Levi. 32 Jeroboam ordained a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, like the feast that was in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. So he did at Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made. And at Bethel he installed the priests of the high places which he had made.

33 So he made offerings on the altar which he had made at Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, in the month which he had devised in his own heart. And he ordained a feast for the children of Israel, and offered sacrifices on the altar and burned incense.

• God separates Israel from this "Good Land" because of their sin. - 1 Kings 14:15-16.

15 For the LORD will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water. He will uproot Israel from this good land which He gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River,[a] because they have made their wooden images,[b] provoking the LORD to anger. 16 And He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who sinned and who made Israel sin."

Judah was the Kingly Line until Shiloh (Jesus) (Genesis 49:10)

Genesis 49:10 - The sceptre shall not depart from Judah,
Nor a lawgiver from beneath his feet,
UNTIL SHILOH COMES;
and to him shall be the obedience of the people.

THE TRANSFER OF RULERSHIP TO ISRAEL

To have a man from David's line to "sit on the throne of the house of Israel" (Jeremiah 33:17), the Rulership had to be "transplanted" from Judah to Israel at the first advent of Jesus.

Jeremiah 39:4-7 - 4 So it was, when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, that they fled and went out of the city by night, by way of the king's garden, by the gate between the two walls. And he went out by way of the plain.[a] 5 But the Chaldean army pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. And when they had captured him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced judgment on him. 6 Then the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes in Riblah; the king of Babylon also killed all the nobles of Judah. 7 Moreover he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with bronze fetters to carry him off to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:1-11 - 1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. 2 He also did evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. 3 For because of the anger of the LORD this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, till He finally cast them out from His presence. Then Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

4 Now it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it; and they built a siege wall against it all around.

5 So the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. 6 By the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. 7 Then the city wall was broken through, and all the men of war fled and went out of the city at night by way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden, even though the Chaldeans were near the city all around. And they went by way of the plain.

8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and they overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. All his army was scattered from him. 9 So they took the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he pronounced judgment on him. 10 Then the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. And he killed all the princes of Judah in Riblah. 11 He also put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in bronze fetters, took him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.

This brought an end to the Kingly Line in Judah: The king of Babylon killed all the Sons of Zedekiah who were rightful heirs to the throne of David.

Zedekiah himself, the last male to rule over the throne in Jerusalem, died in Babylonian captivity.

All the nobles of Judah were likewise executed, leaving no heirs to the throne.

Yet Jeconiah of David's line (once a king but was imprisoned in Babylon), 37 years later was released and restored to honor, but not to the throne (1 Kings 25:27-28). From his line came Zerubabel, to whom Jesus traced his lineage to David. Thus Jesus heirship to David's Rulership-Lineage was established, while ending Judah's rulership anointing from God.

Jeconiah's sons, though eligible for the throne, never reigned as king. God was in the process of TRANSFERRING the throne to the house of Israel.

Jeremiah 22:24, 30 - 24 "As I live," says the LORD, "though Coniah [Jeconiah] the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, were the signet on My right hand, yet I would PLUCK you off;

30 Thus says the LORD:
' Write this man down as childless,
A man who shall not prosper in his days;
FOR NONE OF HIS DESCENDANTS SHALL PROSPER,
SITTING ON THE THRONE OF DAVID,
And ruling anymore in Judah.'"

The crown was now removed from the PHAREZ line of Judah, to the Zarah line, whose descendants, though female, were the progenitors for Davidic Line that, following Jesus' first Advent, ruled the House of Israel as they migrated westward.

Jeremiah was then a prisoner of the Babylonians:

Jeremiah 39:11-12 - 11 Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying, 12 "Take him and look after him, and do him no harm; but do to him just as he says to you."

THE "KING'S DAUGHTERS" BRING THE KINGLY LINE TO MIGRATING ISRAEL

There was turmoil in Babylon, as those in the royal line rose up and killed the Governor that the king of Babylon set up. (Jeremiah 41:1-9). ISHMAEL was the lead figure in the mass-slaughter that ensued:

Jeremiah 41:10 - Then Ishmael carried away all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, EVEN THE KING'S DAUGHTERS, and all the people that remained in Mizpah...and...carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites.

All the males in line for the throne of Judah had been killed. Jeremiah was sent to gather the king's daughters, who could carry on the Davidic line to the throne. These "king's daughters" came into Egypt. (Jeremiah 43:5-7).

A breech existed between the Lines of Zarah and Pharez, described in Genesis 38:27-30. This had to be "healed," and was done so by marriage of the KING'S DAUGHTER of the PHAREZ line, continuing David's line and overturning the throne in Judah:

Ezekiel 21:26-27 - 26Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. 27I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

This prophesied the overturn of the throne in Judah and its subsequent relocation in Israel.

Ezekiel 17:1-6 - And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, speak a parable unto the house of Israel; Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:

He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.

He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.

And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.

God would take a "tender" female of king Zedekiah of the kingly line of Judah - and transplant her to the Zarah line dwelling in the House of Israel. The house of Judah had never had a king to rule from a throne since Zedekiah's line ceased at the hands of the Babylonians.

Ezekiel 17:8 - It was PLANTED in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.

12 Say now to the REBELLIOUS house [ISRAEL, deported 130 before this was written], Know ye not what these things mean?...

14 [Describing Babylon crushing the king of Judah:] That the kingdom might be BASE, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

Here God describes WHY the crushing defeat: that Judah might not lift itself up (not have a king again).

Ezekiel 17:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it [plant it as a queen in the House of Israel in the Zarah line]; I will crop off from the top of his young [child's] twigs a tender [female] one, and will plant it [her] upon an high mountain and eminent:

THIS PROPHESIED THAT THE KINGLY LINE WOULD NOW BE PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.

Amos 9:9 - For, lo, I will command, and I will SIFT THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AMONG ALL NATIONS, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

1 Chronicles 17:9 - Also I will ORDAIN A PLACE for my people Israel, and will PLANT them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning.

----------------------------------

The migration continued, as the "king's daughters" brought forth the Davidic line of kings for the House of Israel. History shows where they traveled, settled, and ultimately came to rule...

SECTION 3:

THE MIGRATION OF THE 10 TRIBES OF ISRAEL FROM PALESTINE TO ENGLAND
We can now see that the Lord separated Israel from Judah (1 Kings 12:15). NOW let's look at the prophesy of God to disburse Israel throughout the nations... and lose their national identity.

1 Kings 14:15-16 - For the LORD will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water. He will uproot Israel from this good land which He gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River, because they have made their wooden images, provoking the LORD to anger. And He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who sinned and who made Israel sin."

As a result of the continuous line of kings in the northern House of Israel who were unrepentant, God said that He would drive them out of the land by invading armies.

2 Kings 17:18-24 - Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone. Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made. And the LORD REJECTED all the descendants of Israel, afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until HE HAD CAST THEM FROM HIS SIGHT.

For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. Then Jeroboam drove Israel from following the LORD, and made them commit a great sin. For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them [sins], until the LORD removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. SO ISRAEL WAS CARRIED AWAY FROM THEIR OWN LAND to Assyria, as it is to this day. [Assyria Resettles Samaria:]

24 Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria INSTEAD OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL; and they took possession of Samaria and dwelt in its cities.

Here the Lord has cast the House of Israel "from His sight" because of their sin. First to Assyria, then, in verse 24, the King of Assyria has to bring in foreign peoples to replace the children of Israel. The first wave of Assyrians came into Samaria in 734-731 B.C., with the final assault occurring in 721 B.C. At this point they deported the House of Israel out of their land. From that time they migrated from the Middle East to other parts of the globe: not as a unified people, but "scattered" as God had declared.

THE DIRECTION OF THE MIGRATION:

2 Samuel 7:10 and 1 Chronicles 17:9 - And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning.

Hosea 12:1 - Ephraim feeds on the wind; he pursues the EAST WIND all day and multiplies lies and violence. He makes a treaty with Assyria and sends olive oil to Egypt.

Jeremiah 3:11-12 - The LORD said to me, "Faithless ISRAEL is more righteous than unfaithful Judah. 12 Go, proclaim this message toward the NORTH

"East wind" of course, blows to the West. And the House of Israel is referred to as being in the North in the second verse above. There is no Hebrew word for "northwest" so we have references to NORTH and WEST to describe the migration of the House of Israel

Hosea 12:1 and Jeremiah 3:11-12 show the migration to be northwest. The 45-degree angle northwest from Palestine brings us to the British Isles. Isaiah 62:2 talks of the Millennial reign of Christ, but it also has a dual meaning before He comes to rule.

Isaiah 62:2 - The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the LORD will name.

Isaiah 65:15 says God would "call His servants by another name" referring to the 10 lost tribes of Israel.

The Hebrew word for covenant is "beriyth" and the Hebrew word for man is "ish". Hebrew words with the letter "h" commonly have it as silent or dropped in the spelling. The God-given NEW name for Israel was to be BRIT (covenant) and ISH (man).

"Saxon" the name given to the inhabitants of Britain (and other European countries) is derived from "sons of Isaac" Hebrews 11:18 "in Isaac shall thy seed be called," God told Abraham. The prophets of old referred to them as the "house of Isaac": Amos 7:16 - Do not prophesy against Israel, And do not spout against the house of Isaac.

The tribe of Dan left its name throughout parts of Europe. "Dan" "Den" "Don" "Din" or "Dun". Irish annals of history record peoples who had formerly inhabited Ireland as Tuatha de Danaans, or Danaans. Their mark is left in such names as Dans-Laugh, Dan-sower, Dun-dalk, Dundrum, Don-egal, Dun-gloe, Din-gle, Dunsmor. The meaning of the word Dunn in Gaelic is the same as Dan in Hebrew: "Judge"

JACOB'S PILLOW

The ships of the Tuatha de Danaan are credited with bringing "Jacob's Pillar" to Ireland, the "Stone of Scone" which eventually in the Coronation Throne in Westminster Abbey. Also known as "Jacob's Pillow," it was regarded as the stone upon which Jacob rested when he had the vision of the ladder with angels ascending and descending upon it.

Genesis 28:10-15 - Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took ONE OF THE STONES of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: "I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall SPREAD ABROAD TO THE WEST AND THE EAST, TO THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you."

Circa 500 A.D., "Jacob's Pillar" was moved from Ireland when Fergus Mor McErc from the Irish Gaelic Kingdom of Dalriada invaded the western coasts of Scotland. When the race of Scots heard that the stone had a legacy of mystic power, Fergus Mor McErc had the stone sent to him from Ireland, to sit upon as King of Scotland. (Forus Feasa ar Erim, Vol. 1, p207).

FROM SCOTLAND TO ENGLAND

In 1296, Edward I of England carried off the Stone to Westminster Abbey. Here it became the Crowning Stone of the successors to the English throne. From the time of King Edward I to the present Queen Elizabeth, all the Monarchs of England were crowned on the "Stone of Destiny". England, along with other kingdoms of Europe, are recipients of the Sceptre promise: a fulfillment of God's promise to King David:

Psalm 89:34-37 - My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David: His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me; It shall be ESTABLISHED FOREVER like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky. Selah

And also:

I Kings 9:5 - Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

By these promises, someone has to have been on the throne of the House of Israel since the time of David.

"SNAPSHOT" Of The MIGRATION

The historical connection between the ancestors of the English and the Lost Ten Tribes is as follows:

  • The House of Israel were moved to Babylon about 720 B.C.

  • Simultaneously, according to Herodotus (the most reliable historian of the period), the Scythians, including the tribe of the Saccae appeared in the same district.

  • The House of Israel later passed over into Denmark - the "mark" of the tribe of Dan - and then to England.

  • Another branch of the tribe of Dan which remained "in ships" (Judges 5:17) made its appearance in Ireland under the title of "Tuatha-da-Danan." Tephi, a descendant of the royal house of David, arrived in Ireland, according to the native annals, in 580 B.C. From her was descended Feargus More, king of Argyll, an ancestor of Queen Victoria, who thus fulfilled the prophecy that "the line of David shall rule for ever and ever" (II Chronicles 13:5, 21:7).

  • The Irish branch of the Danites brought with them Jacob's Pillar, which has always been used as the coronation-stone of the kings of Scotland and England, and is now preserved in Westminster Abbey.

  • Judah's claim to rulership was fulfilled when "Shiloh," or Jesus, came (Genesis 49:10). Then the House of Israel maintained David's Rulership lineage through the "King's daughters" (Jer. 41:10, 43:5-7), who's male descendants were now to fulfill God's promise to "not fail to have a [son of David] on the throne of Israel" (1 Kings 9:5).

HOW CAN WE RECOGNIZE THE "HOUSE OF ISRAEL" TODAY?

THE IDENTIFYING "CLUES:"

"Unwalled villages"

Ezekiel 38:11 - You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people-all of them living without walls and without gates and bars."

The U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia are the only lands that truly have "unwalled villages" not fearing military invasion. Middle-Eastern-Israel has NEVER been a land of unwalled villages, having pillboxes, concrete walls for protection, barbed wire, and sandbagged defenses.

THE GATE OF THEIR ENEMIES:

Genesis 22:17 - That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate [strategic sea lanes] of his enemies;

Britain and America came into possession of every major seagate and overland passage in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are the only nations to have done so.

Deuteronomy 28:12 "You will lend to many nations but borrow from none."

The U.S. and U.K. have lent or given money to the nations of the world on an unprecedented scale. Middle-Eastern-Israel has only been a RECIPIENT of aid: a "borrower."

What nation other than England fulfills these prophetic signs? As a further confirmation, one of the tribes of Manasseh was to become an independent nation (Genesis. 48:19): Manasseh represents the United States:

Genesis 48:19 - But [Joseph's] father [Jacob/Israel] refused and said, "I know, my son, I know. He [Manasseh] also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother [Ephraim] shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations."

DANGERS TO THE "HOUSE OF ISRAEL" IN END TIMES PROPHESY:

This doesn't make Britain or America "above" other peoples or nations in the worldly sense. Actually it incurs greater obligations to observe God's laws both as nations and as individuals -- for there is a greater danger for us than other nations should we fail to do so, as is made clear in end times prophesy:

Isaiah 5:24b-26 - for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.

25 Therefore the LORD's anger burns against his people; his hand is raised and he strikes them down. The mountains shake, and the dead bodies are like refuse in the streets. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised.

26 He lifts up a banner for the distant nations, he whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Here they come, swiftly and speedily!

SECTION 4:
REPENT & ESCAPE THE CURSE

Amos 3:7 "Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."

God will inform the lost House of Israel of who they are and thus give them an opportunity to repent and avoid the destruction prophesied for them:

Jeremiah 3:12-13 - "Return, faithless Israel," declares the LORD, "I will frown on you no longer, for I am merciful," declares the LORD, "I will not be angry forever. 13 Only acknowledge your guilt- you have rebelled against the LORD your God, you have scattered your favors to foreign gods under every spreading tree, and have not obeyed me, " declares the LORD.

The House of Israel is given the opportunity to repent and avoid destruction.
